"Summer Time Fine" Blackberry Mojito

It may not be Spring or Summer but that doesn't mean we have to deny ourselves of rooftop vibes. I don't know about you but I'm going to fake it until I make it. Meaning, Im going to sit right here on my cozy couch, with Lauryn Hill playing in the back ground, sipping this delicious blackberry mojito, while pretending there is a warm breeze passing my way. Yes, I know I'm dramatic but you get my drift. So stop being shy, and get into this "Summer Time Fine" handcrafted cocktail as we patiently wait for the first signs of Spring to pop up. Might as well prepare for the season change while we wait right!?
Blackberry Mojito Cocktail


INGREDIENTS
8 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
1/2 cup fresh blackberries, plus more for garnish
2 tablespoons of light agave syrup ( I like mine sweet)
Ice cubes
1/2 cup light rum
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
Crushed ice
Lime-flavored club soda
Lime slices, for garnish


PREPARATION
In your cocktail shaker, toss in the mint leaves, blackberries, and agave syrup
. Using a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, muddle the ingredients until you can smell the fragrant from the mint leaves.
Add the ice cubes, rum, and lime juice.
Cover and shake vigorously to chill.
Fill your glass of choice with crushed ice and strain the liquid into the glasses.
Top with club soda
Garnish each with a slice of lime, mint leaves, and additional blackberries.
